The first shipment of Roadini Lugged frames is expected to arrive in March or April 2026, and pre-orders are open now. Quantities are extremely limited, so we recommend pre-ordering early to reserve your bike. Please note, this a pre-order deposit only! Actual price of delivered bike will vary based on build specifications.
About the Roadini Lugged
The Roadini Lugged is Rivendell’s vision of what a modern road bike should be: an all-around, all-weather road bike that rides beautifully on perfect pavement—and even better when conditions are less than ideal. It gives up nothing to modern “race” road bikes on smooth roads, but far exceeds them in comfort, stability, versatility, and long-term durability.
Designed for road riding of all kinds, the Roadini is perfect for fitness rides, club rides, solo local loops, and riding with friends on traditional road bikes. With generous tire clearance and easy fender compatibility, it’s a true year-round road bike, not a fair-weather toy.
Unlike many modern road bikes that prioritize aggressive geometry, ultra-stiff materials, and minimal tire clearance, the Roadini is built around real-world riding. Its longer wheelbase and calmer geometry deliver stable, confidence-inspiring handling without twitchiness. The fit allows handlebars to be raised properly for comfort and efficiency, and tire clearance up to 43mm (or 38mm with fenders) means better grip, comfort, and control on imperfect roads.
The Roadini Lugged is constructed from CrMo steel, frame and fork, using fully lugged construction and a beautifully curved, traditionally crowned fork. Steel allows graceful proportions, exceptional ride quality, and long-term durability—without sudden failure. Rivendell designs these frames to be lifetime bikes, built to ride for decades, not seasons.
Rim brakes, a quill stem, and quick-release hubs keep the Roadini simple, adjustable, and easy to live with. It’s a road bike that values comfort, safety, aesthetics, and ride feel over trends—finished in welcoming colors with thoughtful graphics that reflect Rivendell’s timeless approach.

To reserve your frame, place a pre-order deposit now. Once your frame is secured, we’ll contact you directly to discuss build options, components, and timing. Complete builds are available, and we’ll guide you through every detail to ensure your Roadini Lugged is built exactly the way you want it. Frame-only purchases are not available at this time.
Because Rivendell produces bikes in small batches, quantities are extremely limited. Color preferences can’t be guaranteed, though we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
