Rivendell Atlantis – Pre-Order Deposit
The Atlantis is back—and this is your chance to secure one before they’re gone again.
The first shipment of Atlantis Frames is expected to arrive in December 2026 and pre-orders are open now. We have a very limited quantity so pre-order as early as possible to reserve your bike. Please note, this a pre-order deposit only! Actual price of delivered bike will vary based on build specifications.
About the Atlantis
The Rivendell Atlantis is one of the finest steel bikes ever made, equally at home on pavement, gravel roads, dirt trails, and fully loaded touring adventures. Designed around comfort and durability rather than racing, the Atlantis rewards riders who value stability, practical features, and timeless steel ride quality.
This production run is available in Periwinkle and Submarine Green. The frame clears tires up to 2.25", accepts either cantilever or V-brakes, and includes a non-drive-side seatstay pump peg braze-on for a classic touring touch. It's designed primarily for flat and swept-back handlebars, though it can also be built with drop bars. Whether you're building a capable commuter, an expedition touring bike, or an all-road adventure machine, the Atlantis looks just as good with racks as it does without them.
Wheel sizes by frame:
- 50, 53, and 56 cm: 650b wheels
- 59, 62, and 64 cm: 700c wheels
How the Pre-Order Works:
To reserve your frame, place a pre-order deposit now. Once your frame is secured, we’ll contact you directly to discuss build options, components, and timing. Complete builds are available, and we’ll guide you through every detail to make sure your Appaloosa is built exactly how you want it. Please note, we are not offering frame-only purchases at this time.
Due to Rivendell’s small production runs, quantities are extremely limited—and color preferences can’t be guaranteed, though we’ll do our best to honor your choice.
