Rivendell Roadini Custom Build
Oct 26, 2026
One of the things we love about Rivendell bicycles is the freedom to build them in so many different ways. There’s no single formula for putting together a Rivendell, and that's part of what makes these bikes so much fun. There are also so many beautiful, well-made components out there from smaller companies that don't always get the attention they deserve. We love finding opportunities to showcase these unique parts, and a custom Rivendell build is the perfect way to do it.
We recently built up this Rivendell Roadini as a demo bike for the shop. Our goal was to showcase some of the possibilities when it comes to building a Rivendell and give our customers a chance to see something a little different.
This build features a mix of traditional and non-traditional components, demonstrating just how versatile these frames can be. We wanted to show that you don't have to follow the usual rules when choosing parts for a Rivendell. There are plenty of ways to make one your own.
If you're considering a Rivendell or thinking about a custom build, stop by Ottawa Bike and Trail and check it out. We'd love to help you put together a bike that's uniquely yours.
