Rivendell Joe Appaloosa Pre-Order Information

If you’ve been following the shop, you know we’re an approved Rivendell Bicycle Works dealer. Rivendell is a small, bicycle company known for creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind frames and parts. Rivendell has loyal fans around the world and very small production runs. Therefore, their frames sell out quickly and are usually difficult to get your hands on.  

For the past year and a half, Rivendell has paused its dealer program due to limited inventory. The good news? They’ve reopened their dealer program, which means we are able to order frames for our customers from upcoming production runs. 

What This Means for You

If you’ve been dreaming of a Rivendell frame or complete build, we can now help you get one. The first release will be Rivendell Joe Appaloosas, shipping late this year or early January. We’re taking pre-orders now for the Joe Appaloosa Production run. We’ll have a limited number of frames allocated to us, so you’ll want to act quickly if you want to be part of this batch of bikes.  You can learn more about the Joe Appaloosa here. 

If you are interested in a different Rivendell model, we have the full 2026 production schedule, and we’ll provide updates via email about future releases. 

How to Pre-Order

We’re currently taking pre-orders for Joe Appaloosa frames.

• Deadline: August 31st
• Colors: General Use Green or Lime-Olive
• Sizes: 46cm, 51cm, 54cm, 57cm, 60cm

Due to limited production, we can’t guarantee your first-choice color, but we’ll do our best. We have included color examples on our pre-order page. If you want a complete build, we’ll schedule a consultation to go over all of the build options. 

To reserve your Rivendell:

1. visit our PRE-ORDER page.
2. We’ll take a deposit now, with the balance due when your frame arrives.
3. We'll contact you once our pre-orders are confirmed to discuss next steps
