Solar / Lunar Ride March, 19, 2026
Feb 18, 2026
The Solar / Lunar ride has become a tradition at Ottawa Bike and Trail. Twice a year, in the spring and fall, we host this special ride to celebrate the change of seasons.
Summary:
Date: March 19, 2026
Time: 6:00 pm
Price: FREE
Where: Riders Start at Ottawa Bike and Trail or Mile Zero in Osawatomie
Riders will roll out at 6:00 PM, heading to the scenic bridge just west of Rantoul. You can choose to start in Ottawa (at Ottawa Bike and Trail) and ride east, or begin in Osawatomie (Mile Zero Trailhead) and ride west. Both groups will meet at the bridge for a mid-ride celebration!
This is a casual, party-pace ride, and everyone is welcome to join the fun! Lights and helmets are required.
As with all of our rides, EVERYONE is welcome! This is a no-drop casual ride with a pace of around 13-mph. The 17-25 mile route changes each week and we usually have a short-cut option (10-12 miles). After the ride, we meet at Not Lost Brewing to enjoy a cold beer and share stories.
Here's a link to the routes.
