Prairie Spirit Southwind Express Shuttle

Ottawa Bike and Trail offers shuttle services on the Flint Hills Trail and Prairie Spirit Trail State Parks.  This service allows you to park your car at a starting point in Ottawa or Humbolt and be transported to the other end of the trail.  You can then ride the Southwind and Prairie Spirit Trails back where your car will be waiting for you.  You can cover the distance at your own pace.

We schedule shuttle transportation services on select dates.  The number of shuttle seats is limited and trips may be canceled (with 48 hours' notice) if we do not meet a minimum rider count.  

This ticket is for the Prairie Spirit Southwind Trail Express Shuttle.  Riders can choose to board the shuttle in Ottawa (ride from Humboldt to Ottawa) or Humbolt (Ride from Ottawa to Humboldt). 

Check the chart below for mileage.  You can also request to be dropped at other points along the trail if you want to ride a shorter distance.

AFTER YOU ARE DROPPED OFF AT YOUR DESTINATION YOU WILL BE RIDING THE TRAIL UNSUPPORTED.  PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE PREPARED TO COVER THE DISTANCE.   Please contact us if you have any questions about the trail conditions, bike requirements, and recommendations.

7:00 am: Riders Check in at Ottawa Bike and Trail

7:30 am: Shuttle Departs from Ottawa

8:30 am: Shuttle Arrives in Humboldt

8:30 am: Riders Check in Humboldt

9:00 am: Shuttle Departs from Humboldt

10:00 am: Shuttle Arrives in Ottawa
