Since its introduction in 2014, the Jamis Renegade has helped define what a modern adventure bike can be. Designed to handle everything from daily commuting and pavement to gravel roads and multi-day adventures, the Renegade combines versatility, comfort, and confident handling in one incredibly capable platform.

The latest Renegade builds on that proven foundation with increased tire clearance, adjustable fork geometry, plenty of mounting options, and Jamis Size Specific Design. The result is a bike that feels balanced and responsive whether you're riding pavement, exploring gravel roads, or loading up for a weekend adventure.

VERSATILITY

Imagine one bike that can handle your morning commute, an after-work group ride, a weekend gravel adventure, and a multi-day tour. That's the idea behind the Renegade.

With more than 21 frame and fork mounting points, there are plenty of options for adding bottles, racks, fenders, cargo cages, a bento box, and other adventure gear. Generous tire clearance also gives you room to tailor the bike for everything from fast all-road riding to rougher gravel and dirt.

DESIGNED FOR ADVENTURE

Adventure Frame Design – The Renegade's geometry is designed around a longer top tube paired with a slightly shorter stem, along with a lower bottom bracket and longer wheelbase. This places the rider more "in" the bike for confident handling and stability without taking away the responsive feel that makes the Renegade fun to ride.

Jamis' Size Specific Design (SSD) adjusts geometry across the size range to maintain consistent handling and ride quality for riders of different heights.

The Reynolds 520 chromoly steel frame delivers the comfortable, resilient ride quality that makes steel such a great choice for long days and rough roads. A modern UDH derailleur hanger adds compatibility and makes replacement hangers easier to source.

Adventure Fork Design – The Renegade V2 Adventure monocoque carbon fiber fork combines low weight with additional compliance and versatility. A 12mm thru-axle flip-chip allows the fork offset to be changed between 50mm and 55mm.

The 50mm position provides increased stability and is well suited to gravel riding, while the 55mm position creates quicker, more responsive steering for an all-road setup. It's a simple feature that allows riders to fine-tune the Renegade's handling for the way they ride.

BUILT FOR GRAVEL

WTB ST i23 disc rims feature WTB's TCS tubeless-compatible system and are paired with WTB Riddler 700 x 45c tires. The wider 45c Riddlers provide additional traction, comfort, and confidence on loose gravel and rough roads while still rolling efficiently enough for pavement and everyday riding.

SHIMANO CUES 1X10 DRIVETRAIN

The Renegade features Shimano's CUES 10-speed drivetrain, combining simple 1x shifting with a wide gear range that's well suited to gravel, climbing, commuting, and loaded adventures.

A Shimano FC-U6030-1 40T crankset is paired with an 11-48T CS-LG300-10 cassette, providing plenty of low gearing for steep climbs without the complexity of a front derailleur. Shimano ST-U6030 controls and an RD-U6000 rear derailleur complete the drivetrain.

Shimano CUES BR-U6030 hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm SM-RT66 rotors provide dependable braking and modulation in changing road and weather conditions.

Ritchey components round out the build, including a Baquiano Comp alloy handlebar, RL1 4-Axis stem, and Ritchey alloy seatpost, paired with a DDK saddle.
