The IRD Cafam-S Brake Lever Set combines classic styling with precise CNC machining and a smooth, refined lever feel. First introduced in 2021, this latest version brings several improvements to the original design, including a more rigid lever connection, snappier return spring, and redesigned slotted barrel adjuster.
Designed specifically for short-pull brake systems, the Cafam-S is compatible with cantilever, center-pull, and road-style brakes, making it an excellent choice for touring, commuter, gravel, and classic-inspired builds using flat or swept-back handlebars. (Not compatible with linear-pull/V-brakes.)
Machined from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, the Cafam-S levers balance durability, precision, and classic good looks. A sealed cartridge bearing pivot provides exceptionally smooth lever action, while the improved return spring gives the lever a quicker, more positive feel.
The levers are reach adjustable for a comfortable fit and are designed for 3 or 2.5-finger operation, providing plenty of leverage and control.
