The Aventon Level 4 REC is a powerful, practical commuter e-bike built for everyday transportation, recreational riding, and longer adventures. With a strong rear hub motor, long-range battery, comfortable suspension, and Aventon’s latest smart security features, the Level 4 REC offers a lot of capability without overcomplicating the ride.

A 750W rear hub motor delivers 80Nm of torque and 1,188W of peak power, with Boost Mode increasing output to as much as 96Nm and 1,440W for short bursts when you need extra help. The Level 4 REC also features Aventon’s Sensor Switch system, allowing riders to choose between the natural response of a torque sensor and the more immediate assistance of a cadence sensor.

The removable 733Wh battery provides up to 75 miles of estimated range, while regenerative braking can recover energy while slowing or descending to help extend your ride. The Level 4 REC arrives as a Class 2 e-bike and can be converted to Class 3 operation. A throttle is included for easy acceleration without pedaling.

Aventon has also equipped the Level 4 REC with an extensive collection of connected security features. Built-in 4G and GPS connectivity allow you to track the bike through the Aventon app, while an integrated rear wheel lock, unusual activity detection, E-lock, and remote notifications provide additional protection when the bike is parked.

Comfort is a major part of the Level 4 REC's design. An 80mm suspension fork helps smooth out rough pavement and trails, while the 50mm-travel suspension seatpost adds another layer of cushioning. Wide 27.5 x 2.2-inch Kenda tires, commuter-oriented geometry, and an adjustable stem provide a stable and comfortable riding position for daily trips and longer recreational rides.

The Level 4 REC is ready for everyday use right out of the box with full fenders, a rear rack, and integrated front and rear lights. Tektro hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors provide dependable stopping power, and a Shimano 8-speed drivetrain gives riders a familiar and easy-to-service mechanical drivetrain.
